Upper Cumberland's Regional Airport - The regional airport is located between Cookeville and Sparta. It features a 6700' runway and many other amenities such as a passenger terminal and lounge, and car rentals.

The Upper Cumberland is home to many beautiful rivers and lakes. Dale Hollow and Center Hill Lakes are the two largest lakes in the regions.
The Upper Cumberland is home to many fine golf courses. Crossville is known as the golf capital of Tennessee and boast a large number of courses within the county. Picture to the left is a hole at Stonehenge Golf Course.
A paradise of more than 20,000 acres sprawled across the eastern top of the rugged Cumberland Plateau, Fall Creek Falls State Park is one of the most scenic and spectacular outdoor recreation areas in America.
The Upper Cumberland is home to Tennessee Technological University (TTU). The region also has five community colleges and three Tennessee Technology Centers.

Cummins Falls State Parks is one of the newest additions to the Tennessee park system.
There is always plenty to do and see in the Upper Cumberland. Smithville, TN host the annual Fiddler's Jamboree and Craft Festival. This years festival is being held July 5-6, 2013.

Upper Cumberland's beauty is not just skin deep. Cumberland Caverns, the 18th longest cave in America, is also the largest commercial cave in Tennessee.
