The Family Caregiver Support Program provides information and assistance, counseling, respite care, and limited supplementary services (home-delivered meals, personal care, and homemaker) to enable caregivers of an adult 60+ years of age, caregiver of a person with Alzheimer's disease or a related disorder regardless of age, or relatives age 55 or older who are primary caregivers of children no older than 18 years of age unless disabled, in their efforts to gain access to available services.
The Family Caregiver Senior Expo is held in October of each year at Tennessee Technological University’s Hyder-Burks Pavilion. The Expo is free and open to the public and offers one stop shopping for information on all types of services in the Upper Cumberland. With over 150 vendors, attendees can access free health screenings abd fubd valuable information on; healthy lifestyles, retirement, legal issues, care giving, medical equipment, home health, housing options, finance, leisure activities, government services and much more.
